From the South (M6)
Leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the A591, signposted initially to Kendal.Â
Keep following the A591 past Kendal, through Ings (watch out for the speed cameras in the 40 limit!), past Windermere, following the signs for Ambleside.
At the mini roundabout, keep going ahead. Approx. 2 miles further on, you’ll pass Brockhole Visitor Centre on the left and our sister hotel Merewood on the right, you will see our driveway entrance on the right as you enter the next 30mph speed limit.Â
From Keswick and the North Lakes
Take the A591 south through the Lakes. Pass through Ambleside as if heading for Windermere. Approx. 1.5 miles after you leave Ambleside you will pass Holdback Lane to the left, and the Langdale Chase on the right. Continue on another 400 yards and when the road curves round to the right, you will find our driveway entrance on the left.
Be careful as it is quite a sharp left turn into the driveway!
