Just stayed overnight at Cragwood Country House Hotel. This was a Christmas treat from our son and daughter in law. Beautiful grounds, room really comfortable, staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Afternoon tea delicious. Will definitely stay there again.

We got married at the Cragwood on 24/05/25. This has to be one of the best locations to in the Lakes to get married! We went for the Windermere package, that includes a lake cruise which was fab! Although the weather turned on the day it really didn’t matter as Hannah, Stacey and the whole team at the Cragwood made it the best day ever! The Cragwood is a country house hotel, which has character and had such a good atmosphere on the wedding day. The the Wedding breakfast was top notch, I’ve eaten at several Michelin star restaurants and this was better than a lot of those, the canapes were delicious as well! Having the whole place for the day and night makes it such a special occasion, the rooms were great as was the breakfast the next day. Again, thank you to everyone at the Cragwood!
